Ah, the mating call of the red-bellied, green-throated lawn mower!
I remember with - er - _fondness_ my father's habit of running the
Whipper-Snipper (weed-whacker to USaliens) outside my window
when I was having a sleep-in after a late night.
Ah, memories [1]

heheh we bought a house on about 3/4 an acre last fall.. intentionally went
out and bought a push mower... hubby's weird.. and the teenager actually
seems to enjoy it somewhat.. though he'd like to swipe one of the neighbor's
riding mowers....
